Individual Counseling for Adults
Counseling for Adults
Life can be so messy. Sometimes the totality of it all is overwhelming. In today’s fast paced world, we’re expected to go go go and handle all of life’s stressors with grace and ease. But it catches up with us. The major life stressors. The everyday life stressors. The relationship conflicts. Parenting. Navigating careers. Maintaining work-life balance. Dealing with unresolved trauma that gets triggered in everyday life. You want to be present for friends and family but the pressure and demands of life have you feeling stressed and preoccupied. You find that you can’t regulate your mood. You’re easily frustrated, angry, anxious and just want to take a long vacation to get away from it all.
Individual counseling can help you identify and address the aspects of life that are causing the most distress. You can work through old, unresolved trauma, improve the negative self-talk, learn to take things in stride and improve your relationship with yourself. A byproduct of all this is a happier, more productive you who can identify and address unhelpful thoughts, patterns of responding and negative emotions to have a peaceful, fulfilling life.
